Under the patronage of the President of Tikrit University, Professor Waad Mahmoud Raouf, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Humanities, Professor Imad Hamid Ahmed, the Department of English at the College, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, organized a scientific course entitled “Politeness in Language: Communicating Respect in Academic Settings” during the period 24–25/2/2026.
The course was conducted by Assistant Lecturer Hanaa Qaisar, Assistant Lecturer Samaa Satti, Assistant Lecturer Israa Bahram, and Assistant Lecturer Taghreed Salim. It forms part of a series of scientific activities regularly organized by the College of Education for Humanities in support of the academic process, and in reinforcement of the University’s role in serving the community and fostering human development on sound scientific and ethical foundations.
