The College of Education for Humanities, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, Holds a Scientific Course Entitled (“Global Warming and Its Impact on Climate Change”)

Under the patronage of the President of Tikrit University, Professor Waad Mahmoud Raouf, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Humanities, Professor Imad Hamid Ahmed, the Department of Geography at the College, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, organized a scientific course entitled (“Global Warming and Its Impact on Climate Change”) during the period 23–24/2/2026.

The course, organized by Assistant Professor Dr. Raed Abdulhaleem, Lecturer Dr. Abdullah Dakheel, and Lecturer Dr. Rafea Khudair, aimed to shed light on the concept of global warming and its main causes, particularly emissions resulting from human activities, and to clarify its direct relationship with the climate changes witnessed worldwide in recent decades.

The course also addressed the environmental, economic, and social impacts of climate change, including rising temperatures, ice melting, and the increasing frequency of extreme weather events.
