The team of the Department of History secured the “Challenge Championship” football cup after defeating the team of the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences (2–1) on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. The match was held at the five-a-side football field of the College of Education for Humanities at University of Tikrit, under the patronage and supervision of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Imad Hamid Ahmed.
The Deanship of the College extends its congratulations to the Department of History team on this achievement and commends the efforts of the Student Activities Division, represented by Assistant Lecturer Alaa Jumaa Matar. The College wishes them continued success and excellence in both their academic and athletic pursuits.
