College of Education for Humanities Holds an Art Festival as Part of Global Entrepreneurship Week Activities

Under the patronage of the President of Tikrit University, Prof. Waad Mahmoud Raouf, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Humanities, Prof. Imad Hameed Ahmed, the Department of Art Education organized today, Tuesday (2 December 2025), an art festival as part of the activities of Global Entrepreneurship Week.

The festival was inaugurated by the University Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Hassan Hussein Ibrahim, in the presence of a large number of faculty members, staff, and participating students. The event featured an exhibition showcasing a collection of artworks produced by the department’s students, in addition to a live drawing session that allowed students to demonstrate their creative skills directly.

The festival also included an exhibition of distinguished pottery works that highlighted students’ abilities in applying modern artistic techniques to produce aesthetically appealing pieces with cultural and heritage character. Moreover, a musical performance was presented, adding a comprehensive artistic atmosphere to the event.

This festival comes as part of the college’s efforts to support entrepreneurship programs, enhance students’ artistic and creative skills, provide spaces for free expression, and encourage artistic initiatives that contribute to developing their capabilities and broadening their professional horizons.
