Under the patronage of the President of Tikrit University, Prof. Waad Mahmoud Raouf, and supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Humanities, Prof. Imad Hamid Ahmed, the Department of History at our college, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, organized a scientific seminar today, Tuesday, November 25, 2025, entitled:
“Motives of European Penetration in Asia.”
The seminar aimed to enhance the knowledge of third-year history students regarding the objectives and motives of modern European colonialism in Asia during the 16th century, a period that significantly reshaped the world’s economic map, and to highlight the impact of European colonialism on both Asia and the Arab world.
The Dean of the College, Prof. Imad Hamid Ahmed, highly appreciated the efforts of the faculty members of the Department of History in organizing such fruitful scientific seminars, wishing them continued success and dedication in service of our college and beloved university.
